3⁄4cup finely chopped onion

1egg, lightly beaten (or more eggs if you like)
3drops soy sauce
3drops sesame oil
8ounces cooked lean boneless pork or 8 ounces chicken, chopped
1⁄2cup finely chopped carrot (very small)
1⁄2cup frozen peas, thawed
4cups cold cooked rice, grains separated (preferably medium grain)
4 green onion, chopped
2cups bean spourt
2tablespoons light soy sauce (add more if you like)
Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok; add chopped onions and stir-fry until onions turn a nice brown colour, about 8-10 minutes; remove from wok.
Allow wok to cool slightly.
Mix egg with 3 drops of soy and 3 drops of sesame oil; set aside.
Add 1/2 tbsp oil to wok, swirling to coat surfaces; add egg mixture; working quickly, swirl egg until egg sets against wok; when egg puffs, flip egg and cook other side briefly; remove from wok, and chop into small pieces.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok; add selected meat to wok, along with carrots, peas, and cooked onion; stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Add rice, green onions, and bean sprouts, tossing to mix well; stir-fry for 3 minutes.
Add 2 tbsp of light soy sauce and chopped egg to rice mixture and fold in; stir-fry for 1 minute more; serve.
Set out additional soy sauce on the table, if desired.

Today,I am going to share the recipe of how to do a delicious Nasi Lemak.(a Malaysian famous dish).
2 cups coconut milk
2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
salt to taste
1 whole bay leaf
2 cups long grain rice, rinsed and drained
For the garnish:
1 cup oil for frying
1 cup raw peanuts
1 (4 ounce) package white anchovies, washed
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
3 shallots, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons chile paste
1 (4 ounce) package white anchovies, washed
salt to taste
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 cup tamarind juice
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir together coconut milk, water, ground ginger, ginger root, salt, bay leaf, and rice. Cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, or until done.
Place eggs in a saucepan, and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil, and immediately remove from heat. Cover, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove eggs from hot water, cool, peel and slice in half. Slice cucumber.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet or wok, heat 1 cup vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Stir in peanuts and cook briefly, until lightly browned. Remove peanuts with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to soak up excess grease. Return skillet to stove. Stir in the contents of one package anchovies; cook briefly, turning, until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels. Discard oil. Wipe out skillet.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in the skillet. Stir in the onion, garlic, and shallots; cook until fragrant, about 1 or 2 minutes. Mix in the chile paste, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the chile paste is too dry, add a small amount of water. Stir in remaining anchovies; cook for 5 minutes. Stir in salt, sugar, and tamarind juice; simmer until sauce is thick, about 5 minutes.
Serve the onion and garlic sauce over the warm rice, and top with peanuts, fried anchovies, cucumbers, and eggs and chicken
Hi,guys today I would like to share a simple vegetarian spaghetti with you.I hope this post will be useful for you.
Tomato – 4-5
Onion – 1
Garlic – 1 1/2 tbsp
Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
Salt and pepper powder as required
Oregano as needed
Cheese -15 grams
1.Chop onions and garlic finely.
2.Put tomatoes in boiling water for 3-4 minutes and remove it. After it cools, peel the skin and puree it.
3.Boil plenty of water in a pan. Then add the spaghetti with a tsp of salt.
4.Cook stirring in between to prevent the spaghetti from sticking to each other. Cook till tender (It should be firm but tender, so do not overcook.) Check it by tasting it.
5.Now drain the spaghetti into a colander and pass cold water through it. Keep it aside.
6.In a pan, heat a tbsp of oil, add garlic, onion and saute till onions become translucent.
7.Then add tomato puree and salt needed.
8.Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it cook until the sauce thickens. Add the spaghetti to it and toss it well, so that the sauce gets coated evenly with the spaghetti. 9.Add pepper powder to taste.
10.Sprinkle oregano and grated parmesan cheese and serve hot.
Learning is a process similar to building a house. You aren’t fed the complete picture. Limitations on communication prevent the instantaneous transmission of knowledge. Instead you listen to lectures, read textbooks and take painstaking notes to try and comprehend a subject.
You are fed building supplies, bricks, mortar and glass. It is up to you to assemble the building. Unfortunately, most learning strategies fall into two basic types:
Memorization – Instead of building anything you simply stare at each brick for several minutes trying to record its position.
Formulas – This is the equivalent to being blind, fumbling around a new house. You can’t see the building itself but you learn to come up with simple rules to avoid walking into walls.
There is nothing particularly wrong with either of these strategies, assuming they aren’t your entire strategy. The human brain isn’t a computer so it can’t memorize infinite sums of knowledge without some form of structure. And formulas no longer work if the questions they are designed to solve change scope.
The alternative strategy is to focus on actually using the information you have to build something. This involves linking concepts together and compressing information so it fits in the bigger picture. Here are some ideas to get started:
Metaphor – Metaphors can allow you to quickly organize information by comparing a complex idea to a simple one. When you find relationships between information, come up with analogies to increase your understanding. Compare neurons with waves on a string. Make metaphors comparing parts of a brain with sections of your computer.
Use All Your Senses – Abstract ideas are difficult to memorize because they are far removed from our senses. Shift them closer by coming up with vivid pictures, feelings and images that relate information together. When I learned how to do a determinant of a matrix, I remembered the pattern by visualizing my hands moving through the numbers, one adding and one subtracting.
Teach It – Find someone who doesn’t understand the topic and teach it to them. This exercise forces you to organize. Spending five minutes explaining a concept can save you an hour of combined studying for the same effect.
Leave No Islands – When you read through a textbook, every piece of information should connect with something else you have learned. Fast learners do this automatically, but if you leave islands of information, you won’t be able to reach them during a test.
Test Your Mobility – A good way to know you haven’t linked enough is that you can’t move between concepts. Open up a word document and start explaining the subject you are working with. If you can’t jump between sections, referencing one idea to help explain another, you won’t be able to think through the connections during a test.
Find Patterns – Look for patterns in information. Information becomes easier to organize if you can identify broader patterns that are similar across different topics. The way a neuron fires has similarities to “if” statements in programming languages.
Build a Large Foundation – Reading lots and having a general understanding of many topics gives you a lot more flexibility in finding patterns and metaphors in new topics. The more you already know, the easier it is to learn.
Don’t Force – I don’t spend much time studying before exams. Forcing information during the last few days is incredibly inefficient. Instead try to slowly interlink ideas as they come to you so studying becomes a quick recap rather than a first attempt at learning.
Build Models – Models are simple concepts that aren’t true by themselves, but are useful for describing abstract ideas. Crystallizing one particular mental image or experience can create a model you can reference when trying to understand. When I was trying to tackle the concept of subspaces, I visualized a blue background with a red plane going through it. This isn’t an entirely accurate representation of what a subspace is, but it created a workable image for future ideas.
Learning is in Your Head – Having beautiful notes and a perfectly highlighted textbook doesn’t matter if you don’t understand the information in it. Your only goal is to understand the information so it will stick with you for assignments, tests and life. Don’t be afraid to get messy when scrawling out ideas on paper and connecting them in your head. Use notes and books as a medium for learning rather than an end result.

Hye guys. Today I want to share a recipe on how to make delicious chicken rendang.Rendang is a very famous malaysian dish which is rich in taste.I bet u that you will want it again after trying this.
Ingredients :~ (A)
1 kg chicken ~ cleaned and cut into medium sized pieces
1/2 tbp turmeric powder
(B) To blend together
6 tbsp dried chilli paste
5 cloves garlic
1 large onion
1 inch ginger
10 bird’s eye chillies
5 stalks lemongrass
2 candlenuts (buah keras)
1/2 inch fresh turmeric
2 inches galangal
sufficient water to form a paste
200ml coconut milk
2 pcs tamarind pulps
2 stalk lemongrass ~ slightly bruised
5 pcs kaffir lime leaves or 2 pcs turmeric leaves ~ thinly sliced
2 tbsp kerisik (toasted and pounded coconut)
salt to taste
First of all, marinade chicken pieces with turmeric powder and salt for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, blend ingredients (B) until smooth.
Heat oil in wok and fry the chicken pieces until 3/4 cooked. Set aside.
Use same oil to saute the blended ingredients together with the bruised lemongrass.
Stir the gravy and cook covered for 25-30 minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid burnt bottom.
Once you see the oil separates from the gravy, add coconut milk, tamarind pulps and salt.
Stir and allow to boil a few times. Add fried chicken pieces and kaffir lime leaves.
Mix well and cover the lid for another 10 minutes. Stir.
Add toasted coconut, mix evenly. Check for salt. Dish out.
Today I am going to share on how to make scrumptious CRUMPETS WITH STRAWBERRY. For this you will need metal crumpet rings. It is a really simple and good to eat recipe.I’ll bet that the kids will definitely love this.Let’s dig in…
For this you’ll need :
175g/6oz strong white flour
175g/6oz plain flour
2 x 7g sachets instant yeast
1 tsp caster sugar
350ml/12fl oz warm milk
150-200ml/5-7fl oz warm water
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
sunflower oil for cooking
Weigh the flours in to a bowl. Add the yeast and stir through the flour.
Dissolve the sugar in the warm milk and pour onto the flour. Using a wooden spoon beat until you have a smooth batter. This will take 3-4 minutes and is hard work, but is essential to produce the holes in the crumpets.
Cover and leave for at least 20 minutes and up to an hour. The batter will rise and then begin to fall. You will see marks on the side of the bowl where the batter was before it dropped.
Mix the bicarbonate of soda and salt with the warm water and beat it into the batter. Add about ¾ of the water and keep adding it until you get a double cream consistency. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.
Heat a flat griddle or heavy based pan. Lightly grease the inside of four metal crumpet rings. Lightly grease the griddle. Sit the rings on the griddle over a medium heat.
Drop two dessert spoons of mixture into each ring. After 4-5 minutes bubbles should appear and the surface should be set. Carefully turn the crumpets in their rings and cook for a further three minutes.
Serve immediately with fresh strawberry or jam or leave to cool and then toast before eating with plenty of butter.

I am going to share how to do simple cheesy scrambled egg that kids can do by themselves.

Use a fork to whisk the eggs . Season with salt and pepper.
Melt the butter in a small nonstick frying pan over medium-low heat. Pour in the eggs. Use a wooden spoon to stir occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until almost set. Remove pan from heat and stir in cheese.
Serve it with toast bread.
Let your kids do it by themselves.But make sure that they are in ur supervision. Do teach them.It is okay to do mistake. Let them learn from their mistake.
1.Soak tamarind in hot water for 30 mins and extract its juice and keep aside. Make the total water 3 cups. Chop tomatoes roughly. Heat kadai and cook tomatoes in few drops of oil with a pich of salt until soft. Add the tamarind extract, turmeric, torn curry leaves and half the coriander leaves.
2.Bring to boil and add the rasam powder, salt and sugar.(refer note-1 for a tip) Mix well and just bring to boil.Switch off the flame and transfer to the serving bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves.Close immediately (otherwise the aroma will escape ;)).
3.Temper with the items given under ‘To temper’ table in order and add it to the rasam.
You can two crushed garlic with skin before switching off the flame. This does a magic and gives a great flavour. Do not add more than two but.
Rasam need not boil for long time as it will not be tasty. Just bring to boil, makes it frothy.
You can reduce water and add cooked toor dal water or 2-3 tblsp of toor dal. That too gives rasam a different flavour.
Sugar in rasam enhances flavour and gives a clear rasam.

Rasam powder recipe
Coriander seeds – 3/4 cup
Red chilli (long variety) – 20
Toor dal – 1/4 cup
Channa dal – 1/4 cup
Black pepper – 3 tblsp
Cummin seeds – 3 tblsp
Hing – 1/2 tsp
Dry roast red chilli,hing (if solid. Refer notes), channa dal and toor dal first until dals are golden in colour. Roast in medium flame with constant frying. Transfer to a plate for cooling and then roast coriander seeds and pepper until fragrant.
Once the coriander seeds is roasted well, it lends a great flavour. Now add jeera lastly. Fry until it starts popping. Cool everything completely.
Powder it to a fine powder in a mixer and store in an airtight container.
Can be stored for a month if handled properly in an airtight container.
